Provinzialkonzil; 1507 (12. Juli)
A provincial council was held at Drogheda on 12 July in order to defend the abbot of Kells, whose monastery had suffered depredations from the unscrupulous behaviour of some clergy from the diocese of Kilmore. In attendance were the bishops of Down and Connor, Derry and Ardagh, as well as Thomas of Kilmore, but not his colleague Cormac, which may suggest that the guilty parties were clients of him, though that is nowhere stated in the letter sent to the clergy of Meath, expressing support for the abbot of Kells.
